What should I use to protect my X-ray device from electrical surges?

Amperage Protection:

First we recomend having a PowerVar* unit which will assist with protection from over Amperage.

Most NEW devices sold after 2014 will come wtih the appropriate device. However if your machine did not come wtih a PowerVar unit We recommend that you contact your dealer to order a factory authorized unit.

2D Units – will use the 7.0 Amp

3D Units – will use the 8.0 Amp

Voltage Protection:

Second would be an ‘AVR’ or Automatic Voltage Regulator. These devices typically will help with voltage, brown outs and things of that nature but shoudl not be confused as a ‘Battery Backup or UPS by their more common name”

We recommend the TripLite LC1200.
